Frequently Asked Questions
We think we have ghosts. How much do you charge for an investigation?
Our services are free and confidential. You may choose to make a donation if you wish, but no fees are ever charged or expected. Any donations received go to fund the cost of our investigations. See below for more on a related subject.
Should I be charged for an investigation?
Absolutely not. Beware of some Paranormal groups, psychics, mediums and cleansers that charge for their services. Services of that nature often falsify their findings and/or readings just to make a buck. A true Paranormal Investigator is not in this for money but for the scientific study of the paranormal and the truth. Investigating the paranormal can get very expensive and if you decide to make a donation to a research group that is your choice. Legitimate groups will use any donations for the cost of travel and equipment but never charge for their service.
How long does an investigation take?
Investigations can take anywhere from 4-8 hours, depending on the size of the site in question and on the type of activity being reported. Sometimes it may be required to conduct a follow up investigation.
What if I have pets?
All pets should be relocated in order to conduct a proper paranormal investigation due to the risk of evidence contamination, safety and health concerns. If removing them from the investigation site is absolutely impossible then they must be confined to one location during the investigation.
Where do I go while an investigation is under way?
To many people on the premises can make it difficult to properly collect evidence so we must keep the amount of investigators and spectators to a minimum. We would prefer that one person remain nearby incase the need to address any issues should arise, but if you wish not be present we understand and is not required for an investigation.
What kind of equipment do you use?
We use all kinds of equipment, EMF meters, digital and film cameras, digital recorders, air temperature probes, and video cameras with IR lighting. Our goal is to collect as much data as possible to obtain a complete survey of the area(s) where activity is being reported.
Can you "get rid of" my ghost?
It’s possible that we could find natural causes for events you are experiencing and if so we can suggest ways to fix these problems. If we think that paranormal activity exist, we can help with ideas and suggestions on how to deal with the situation. We are able to do basic cleansings of your home or business in question with the utmost professionalism. We take your concerns seriously and do our best to ease the situation and get the answers to your questions. We are not demonologists or exorcist.
Can you capture an image or video of my ghost?
It‘s possible, but a clear photo or even a partial photo of an apparition are extremely rare. Sometimes, there can be other indicators, but all photos and videos are rigorously reviewed. Before we label something as evidence of the paranormal we must first rule out natural explanations. Often, a lens flare or other fault causes what appears to the untrained eye to be a "ghost." The majority of so-called orbs are merely dust, moisture, or insects.
